Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Renner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Lahey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is God Particle. Jeremy Renner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Renner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Lahey! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Renner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lahey blocking the ground and pound attempt from Renner. Lahey is trying to stand back up but Renner is controlling him

Renner sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lahey defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lahey wants to get back to his feet.
Renner thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lahey's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ground and pound from Renner. Well, if Renner is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Renner takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Renner scoring with strikes to the body and head. Renner winds up and cracks Lahey with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lahey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Renner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Renner is taking a breather. Lahey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Renner is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Renner landing strikes from the mount.
Lahey is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Lahey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lahey is still in real trouble! Can Renner finish him? Renner softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Lahey is out cold! Renner jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy Renner! Jeremy Renner tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. In defeat, Jim Lahey stepped up to the mic, saying 'Jim Lahey for supervisor of the year'.
