Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lui Ken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Jinx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ken comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat. Jinx has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Ken lands but Jinx takes it in his stride.
Ken misses with a wild combination.
Ken shoots in for a double leg but Jinx sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ken misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ken moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jinx fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ken closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jinx's guard.
Jinx looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Ken gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jinx shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ken sprawls well. Ken wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jinx gets slowly back to his feet.

Ken closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jinx to the mat! Jinx manages to get full guard.
Ken gets to his feet - Jinx follows without any prompting.
Ken tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jinx defends well and Ken ends up having to push Jinx into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jinx is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Ken closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jinx bucks up and tries to throw Ken off but instead Ken has got his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ken just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Ken's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Jinx's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Ken is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A left and a right from Ken both land. Nice combination.
Ken lands a nice shot that snaps Jinx's head back.

Ken manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jinx on his heels. He'll look to pass Jinx's guard now, I'm sure.

Jinx looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Ken is trying to trip Jinx. He has hold of a leg but Jinx is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ken persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ken rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jinx moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Jinx drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ken defends it well.

Ken slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jinx is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ken slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jinx has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ken is working away from the top position though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ken in particular looking to stall.
Ken moves into full mount! Jinx won't be happy about that!

Ken looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jinx is fending him off so far but Ken persists. Nope, Jinx circles away and we're back to standing.

Well Ken has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
