Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Thomson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Parlsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasha Parlsh has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Thomson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sasha Parlsh! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Parlsh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thomson tries to counter with a takedown but Parlsh is quick to defend against it. Thomson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Parlsh was covering up waiting for the punch and Thomson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Thomson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomson tries to stand but Parlsh is controlling from the bottom. Thomson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Thomson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Thomson taking a breather here. Thomson wants to stand but Parlsh is controlling his arm. A lull in the action here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parlsh misses with a double jab.
Thomson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Parlsh has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Thomson is on him like a limpet, forcing Parlsh back against the cage. Thomson has Parlsh pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Thomson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Parlsh tumbling to the mat - Thomson dives into Parlsh's guard. Parlsh is looking to stand back up but Thomson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Parlsh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parlsh wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thomson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Parlsh is looking to escape. Thomson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parlsh is just riding it out for now. Thomson eventually gives up the hold. Thomson controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Thomson will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Thomson drives through and clinches with Parlsh against the cage.
Parlsh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Thomson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Thomson clinches up with Parlsh and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomson has hold of one of Parlsh's legs. Parlsh is fighting the takedown attempt but Thomson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Parlsh tries to land a sweep but no joy. Thomson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Parlsh can do to turn this around? Parlsh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Thomson is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Thomson takes the fight into the clinch. Thomson pressing his opponent against the cage. Thomson taking a breather. Thomson gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Thomson successfully pulls guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomson managing to control the position. Thomson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Thomson has his hands on Parlsh's head, controlling the position. Parlsh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Thomson striking off his back, scoring a few points. Parlsh trying to control the position from guard on top but Thomson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Thomson managing to control the position. Thomson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Parlsh prevents Thomson from getting back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! No joy there for Parlsh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thomson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A combination from Parlsh does no damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Thomson dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Thomson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thomson showed some decent athleticism there. Parlsh manages to escape and get back to his feet! Parlsh fails in his attempt to clinch. Thomson fires out a quick counter leg kick but Parlsh just manages to avoid it. Thomson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Parlsh. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomson throws a sloppy head kick and Parlsh moves out of range easily. Parlsh throws a one two combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thomson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parlsh as he jumps to the side.

Thomson is trying to trip Parlsh. He has hold of a leg but Parlsh is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Thomson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Thomson tries to free his leg and advance position but Parlsh is retaining full guard. Thomson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Thomson lands a couple of digs. Parlsh wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Thomson manages to pass to side control. Thomson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Parlsh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomson misses with a head shot. Parlsh uses the momentum to regain guard. Thomson stops Parlsh from standing up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A combination from Parlsh does no damage. Parlsh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thomson.
