Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Arthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shayne Cairncross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arthur comes to the cage accompanied by Darude - Sandstorm. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Summer Carpenter and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cairncross ducks under a wild hook from Arthur.
Cairncross with a lazy takedown attempt
and Arthur counters by moving into the clinch.
Arthur misses with a hook to the ribs.
Cairncross tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Arthur smiles and moves away.
Nice body punch from Cairncross.
Arthur loads up on a big right hand but Cairncross slips the punch.
Cairncross throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Cairncross darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Arthur moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cairncross misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cairncross lands a right hook to the body.
Arthur throws a push kick but Cairncross slaps the foot to one side.
Cairncross throws a low kick but Arthur moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cairncross misses with a few strikes there.
Arthur tries to counter with a takedown but Cairncross is quick to defend against it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Arthur. Cairncross does a little dance to reset his feet.
Arthur scores with a push kick.
Arthur on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Arthur closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cairncross to the mat! Cairncross manages to get full guard.
Cairncross pushes Arthur off and scrambles back to his feet.
Arthur closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Arthur has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cairncross is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Arthur yanks on the arm and Cairncross is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Arthur.
