Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vodka Patron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romeo Costano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costano has chosen Adele - Set Fire To The Rain (Rock Cover by Our Waking Hour) as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patron stuffs the takedown attempt from Costano. Costano gets slowly back to his feet.
Costano blocks a low kick nicely.
Costano throws a right and a left that Patron avoids nicely.
Costano darts in looking for a takedown but Patron gets double underhooks and turns Costano into the cage.
Costano is trying hard to land a takedown here. Patron sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vodka Patron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Romeo Costano.
Patron misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Costano.
Patron paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Romeo Costano has been cut.
Patron ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Costano moves away.

Vodka Patron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Costano scores with a nice body kick.
Costano takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Patron ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Costano moves away.

Patron misses with a two punch combination.
Patron connects with a crisp jab.
Costano scores with a jab to the body.
Costano is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Costano moves into range and clinches up with Patron.
Patron tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Costano has Patron pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Costano pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Patron tumbling to the mat - Costano dives into Patron's guard.

Costano is working Patron over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Costano gets to his feet. Patron looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Horrible takedown attempt by Costano or perhaps it was just good defense by Patron, which made it look bad.
Patron tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Patron looks to score with a jab to the body but Costano is just out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Patron is breathing heavily.
Patron goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Patron throws a looping overhand right but Costano ducks down to avoid it.

and Costano counters by clinching up.
Costano lands a shoulder strike.

Costano pulls guard.

Costano is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Costano is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Costano is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Costano slows the pace down in half guard.

Patron actively working from the bottom here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Costano stalling.
Costano tries to pass to full mount but Patron defends it.
Costano lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Romeo Costano will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Romeo Costano's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Patron gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vodka Patron is winning the standup battle so far.
Patron stuns Costano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Patron rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Costano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Patron misses with a double jab.
Costano punishes Patron's body with a nice straight punch.
Patron is looking to wear down Costano with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Costano moves out of range of the leg kick from Patron.
Costano closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Patron out cold! Patron corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Romeo Costano!
A very excited looking Romeo Costano rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
