Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Laaka Mato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fotis Klaniaris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klaniaris is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Iron Maiden-Alexander The Great. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klaniaris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Klaniaris throws a shot from downtown. Mato moves away and avoids it.
Mato is looking to counter punch.

Mato just misses with a punch to the body.
Klaniaris lands a front kick.
Klaniaris misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Klaniaris tries a head kick but it misses.

Klaniaris throws a solid leg kick but Mato takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Klaniaris.
Fotis Klaniaris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mato was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

and Mato counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Klaniaris looks winded!
Klaniaris misses with a jab to the body
and Mato connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Mato counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
