Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Feilo Meloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nycky Downtime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meloy comes to the cage accompanied by Hypocrisy - Apocalypse. Downtime has chosen Bring It as his entrance music. Nycky Downtime has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Feilo Meloy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

34 - 34 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Nycky Downtime!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meloy shoots in for a takedown but Downtime shows good takedown defense.
Downtime swats away the attempt to clinch by Meloy.
Feilo Meloy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Downtime looks to land a combination but Meloy avoids it well.
Downtime throws a right and a left that both miss.
Downtime misses with a right hand
and Downtime takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Downtime throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Meloy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Downtime.
Meloy misses with a takedown attempt - Downtime sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Meloy with that takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Downtime lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Meloy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Meloy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Meloy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Downtime defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Meloy.
Downtime wants to counter the offense by Meloy and move into the clinch position.
Downtime smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Downtime displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Meloy.
Meloy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Meloy counters with a good low kick that Downtime was not able to check.
Meloy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Downtime defends well and Meloy ends up having to push Downtime into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Meloy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Meloy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Downtime's waist but Downtime gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meloy off to one side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Meloy shoots in but Downtime avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Downtime fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Meloy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Meloy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Downtime tries to counter by closing the distance.
Downtime waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Meloy.
Meloy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Downtime as he avoids it easily.
Downtime misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Meloy fails with a takedown attempt.
Meloy lands a jab to the head.
Meloy fails with the takedown.

Downtime throws a shot to the body.
Meloy shoots in but Downtime avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little jabbing left from Downtime on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Meloy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Downtime lands a glancing blow to the side of Meloy's head.
Downtime takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Meloy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Meloy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Downtime stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Downtime throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Meloy lands a front kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nycky Downtime dominated that round.
That's time! Meloy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Meloy clinches with his opponent.
Meloy wants to take the fight to the mat but Downtime manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Downtime gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Meloy.
Meloy tries for a takedown. No joy.

Downtime has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Downtime throws a right hand that Meloy ducks under and follows up with a left that Meloy also avoids with ease.
Downtime cracks Meloy on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Meloy falls backwards against the cage. Downtime follows up with more strikes that drop Meloy to his knees. Downtime keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Meloy! This one is all over!
