Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Karter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Chris Karter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Karter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Gracie! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Karter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Karter scores with a nice right hand.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat. Karter wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie tries for a takedown but Karter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chris Karter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Gracie. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt and Karter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Karter counters by moving into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Karter. Karter lands with a short shot to the head. Karter slows down the pace here.
Karter scores with a shot to the side of Gracie's head. Karter scores with a shoulder strike. Karter lands a hook that snaps the head of Gracie backwards. Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Karter lands with a light punch inside. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie is trying to pull guard but Karter turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Karter. Gracie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gracie takes a shot to the head. Karter is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Karter down to the mat. Karter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie. Gracie looks winded! Karter darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage. Karter presses Gracie against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. A short right from Karter. Karter lands with a left to the head. Karter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gracie backwards. Karter lands an uppercut.

Karter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gracie backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Karter. Gracie goes for a takedown attempt but Karter pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Gracie is rocked! Karter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though. Karter lands a big right hand that sends Gracie crashing to the mat! Karter stays standing though and waves Gracie back to his feet! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Karter dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Karter drops Gracie with a naaaaasty hook - Gracie is in real trouble here! Karter dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Karter! Chris Karter is the new featherweight champion! A less than humble Chris Karter misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
