Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between CJ Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brach Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brach Lesnar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brach Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lesnar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brach Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Watson misses with a takedown attempt - Lesnar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Watson shoots in for a double leg but Lesnar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for CJ Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lesnar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lesnar throws a right hand that Watson ducks under and follows up with a left that Watson also avoids with ease.

Watson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lesnar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lesnar is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Lesnar tries to bench press Watson off him but Watson keeps the position.
Watson is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lesnar tries to buck Watson off but Watson is having none of it.
Watson advances to full mount.
Lesnar is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Lesnar is desperately trying to improve his position but Watson has a good base and remains in mount.
Watson looking to control but Lesnar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Watson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lesnar swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Watson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lesnar is looking to escape.

Lesnar tries to reverse the position but Watson maintains control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Oooh a lovely combination from Lesnar sends Watson down but not out. Lesnar dives into side control looking to finish.


It looks like CJ Watson has been cut.
Lesnar working the body and head with strikes.


Watson is rocked!
Lesnar lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Watson! Lesnar senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Watson out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Brach Lesnar!
