Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emelianenko Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dickson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. David Dickson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dickson fails to land the takedown. Dickson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dickson fails with the takedown. Fedor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fedor is looking for a sweep. Dickson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Fedor's legs. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dickson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Fedor escapes and throws Dickson's legs to the side, diving into side control! Check out the look on Fedor's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Dickson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fedor connects with a decent elbow. Fedor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dickson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Fedor works to advance to full mount. Dickson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Dickson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dickson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Emelianenko Fedor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dickson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fedor is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dickson. You can see the frustration on Dickson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dickson tries to hold on but Fedor pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! David Dickson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dickson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
