Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Garrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Crispin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordon Garrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Martin Crispin! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garrison moves into the clinch. Garrison pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Crispin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Garrison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Crispin misses with a body shot.
As Crispin backs away, Garrison returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Crispin drives through with a takedown into Garrison's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Crispin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Crispin stops Garrison from standing up. Garrison has control of Crispin's left arm, preventing Crispin from doing any damage. Garrison is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crispin is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garrison wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Garrison is looking to stand up but Crispin isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crispin throwing strikes from guard but Garrison blocks nicely. Garrison controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crispin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Garrison is keeping the position for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Garrison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Crispin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Crispin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Garrison under the eye. Crispin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Garrison went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crispin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Crispin feints and as Garrison raises his hands in defense, Crispin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Garrison is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garrison jumps guard.
Garrison pushes Crispin off and scrambles back to his feet.
Garrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Crispin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Garrison chips away with some ground and pound. That's four minutes gone in the round. Garrison tries to stand but Crispin is controlling from the bottom. Garrison trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Garrison scoring with some ground and pound. Garrison stands and steps away. Crispin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Garrison slips under a jab. Garrison closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crispin circles away. Crispin looks to land a left hand but Garrison moved out of range nicely. Garrison appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gordon Garrison dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Garrison has Crispin pulled in close to control his posture. Crispin prevents Garrison from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garrison pulls Crispin in close to prevent any damage. Garrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Crispin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Garrison explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Crispin lands a nice shot that snaps Garrison's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crispin throws a shot from downtown. Garrison moves away and avoids it. Crispin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garrison but Garrison pushes him off and we're back to square one. Crispin is breathing heavily. Garrison moves away from the strike by Crispin. Garrison was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Garrison fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garrison shoots in but no luck this time. Garrison clinches with his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Crispin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Garrison. Crispin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Garrison doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. The crowd cheers as Garrison lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crispin doesn't seem phased though. Martin Crispin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Crispin throws a body shot but no joy. Garrison appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Crispin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Garrison as he jumps to the side. Garrison tried to counter with a leg kick but Crispin avoided it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crispin looks to land a left hand but Garrison moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And Crispin tries to counter it with a takedown but Garrison pushes his down on his head and steps out. No luck with that takedown attempt from Garrison. Garrison forces Crispin back against the cage and clinches. Garrison manages to break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Garrison fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crispin avoids it really well and circles away. Crispin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Garrison sprawls well initially but Crispin persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Garrison wants to get back to his feet.
Garrison has his hands clasped together around Crispin's back. He's all about the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garrison makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Garrison. Crispin being controlled here momentarily. Martin Crispin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Garrison wants to stand but Crispin is controlling the position. Garrison is pulling down on Crispin's head to control his posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Martin Crispin. I think Garrison has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
