The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McMurray closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Come on McMurray - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
McMurray misses with some punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McMurray.
A short left from McMurray.
Shank misses with some punches.
McMurray lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Shank backwards.
McMurray lands a body punch in the clinch.
Shank swings away with an uppercut that misses.
McMurray leaning his opponent against the cage.
McMurray is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shank pulls him back up using the underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Shank.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McMurray.
Shank definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shank lands a nice shot to the body.

Shank gets through McMurray's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Shank is defending well against a takedown attempt.
McMurray throws a punch but it's blocked by Shank.
McMurray looks to throw an elbow but misses.
McMurray is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Shank is defending well.
Shaw Shank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lewis McMurray.
McMurray swings wildly with an uppercut but Shank uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shank tries to break the clinch but McMurray is controlling the position.

Shank goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

McMurray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shank feints and then cracks McMurray's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McMurray down.
Shank swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McMurray.

It looks like Lewis McMurray has been cut.
McMurray takes one to the side of the head.

McMurray is rocked!
Shank throws an uppercut from hell that sends McMurray clean off his feet! He's out cold! Shank stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
