Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maria Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maria Lester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Torres! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres scores with a shot to the body.
Lester takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Torres lands a glancing blow to the side of Lester's head. Torres connects with the punch. Torres works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Torres jabs Lester to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nice uppercut lands for Torres. That snapped Lester's head back.
Torres throws out a powerful jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Torres stuns Lester with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Torres connects with a looping right hand.
Torres connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Lester gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Torres. Lester really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Torres bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lester's head backwards. A lazy left from Torres finds it's target. Torres with a nice cross. Lester tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Torres defends well and Lester ends up having to push Torres into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lester fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Torres avoids it really well and circles away. It seemed like Torres was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Torres lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Torres uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Torres lands the left hand. Torres swings for the body but Lester moves out of range.
Lester shoots in and drives through. Torres sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maria Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good exchange - Torres coming out on top. Torres connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Torres.
Lester is looking for a counter combo. Lester bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Torres scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lester takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. This has been an exciting period of action! A right-left combo lands from Torres. Torres looks winded! Lester shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Torres manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Torres wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lester manages to pass to side control.
Lester will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lester is working for a kimura but Torres is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lester lands with a punch from half guard. Lester missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lester is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Torres defends it well. Lester is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Torres dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A big left from Torres misses. Lester takes the fight into the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Torres manages to pull guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lester accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lester cracks Torres with a solid left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lester trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lester working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lester missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lester is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Torres is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lester dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Torres is breathing heavily. Torres dodges the ground and pound from Lester. Lester throws a strike aimed at the side of Torres's head but Torres avoids it well. Maria Lester overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lester is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Torres knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Lester tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lester has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lester stands up. Lester uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Torres. Torres misses with a straight left. Torres swinging wildly here.

Torres manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lester tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Torres swivels and escapes. Lester shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Torres defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maria Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torres swinging wildly here.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A slow jab from Torres misses its intended target. Lester fails with a takedown attempt. Lester tries to score a power double leg takedown but Torres sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lester somewhat. Lester slips under a jab. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lester shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Torres manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Torres is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lester dives into side control.

A close second round but Juan Torres will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Lester is looking for a counter combo. Torres moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Torres shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lester eats them both and turns towards Torres to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Lester walks into a left hand. Torres throws a lazy right hand but Lester sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A jab lands there for Torres. Lester slips a straight right by Torres. Lester seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lester ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lester is looking for a counter combo. Torres has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Torres lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lester at a distance.
Lester shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Torres but Torres pushes him off and we're back to square one. Torres takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Torres throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lester swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Lester drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Torres is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lester dives into side control.
Torres takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Torres is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Lester wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Torres, who protects the arm well. Lester thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lester is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Torres is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lester is working to tighten his grip on Torres's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Torres has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lester is really squeezing tight and eventually Torres passes out! Lester breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
