Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maria Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres scores with a shot to the body.
Lester takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Nice uppercut lands for Torres. That snapped Lester's head back.

It seemed like Torres was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Torres lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Maria Lester overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lester tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lester has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lester wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Torres, who protects the arm well.
Lester thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lester is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Torres is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lester is working to tighten his grip on Torres's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Torres has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lester is really squeezing tight and eventually Torres passes out! Lester breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
