Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Hallava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Sandman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that The Sandman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Hallava! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Sandman! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hallava fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sandman scores with a jab to the head.
An inside leg kick from Hallava misses. Hallava stuffs the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sandman. A big right from Hallava misses. And Sandman tries to counter it with a takedown but Hallava pushes his down on his head and steps out. Nice cross by Sandman. Sandman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hallava quickly recovers to half guard. Sandman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hallava doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sandman. Sandman prevents Hallava from standing back up.
Sandman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hallava has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hallava is defending against the submission attempts here by Sandman.
Sandman is working for a kimura but Hallava is defending it quite comfortably.
Hallava has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Sandman is on him like a limpet, forcing Hallava back against the cage. Sandman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hallava prevents it.
Julius Hallava has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Sandman. Hallava gets underhooks to prevent Sandman's takedown attempt.
Sandman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hallava fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hallava will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hallava gets caught flat footed, as Sandman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hallava is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sandman is controlling him. Sandman passes Hallava's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sandman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hallava doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sandman. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sandman has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sandman working for a submission but Hallava is keeping him at bay.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandman content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hallava is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Sandman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hallava can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Sandman is working for a guillotine from mount but Hallava frees his head quite easily.
Sandman has hold of Hallava's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hallava manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hallava knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sandman on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandman looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Sandman working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hallava turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Sandman off and cradles Hallava's limp body as Sandman celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). The Sandman! The Sandman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that AnonymouS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
