Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LeSean White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fedor Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, LeSean White!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Watson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in looking for a takedown but Emelianenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing White's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Emelianenko shoots in for a double leg but White sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
White will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

White gets caught napping as Emelianenko dives in and scores a takedown. White manages to retain guard.
Emelianenko has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

and Emelianenko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Emelianenko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in White's guard.

Horrible takedown attempt by White or perhaps it was just good defense by Emelianenko, which made it look bad.
White fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fedor Emelianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LeSean White.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Emelianenko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Emelianenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. White tries to avoid it but Emelianenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag White to the ground. White escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.

Emelianenko working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White is looking for a sweep. Emelianenko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
White is pressing down on Emelianenko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
White not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Emelianenko won't allow White to sweep him here.

Emelianenko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that White can do to turn this around?

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fedor Emelianenko.
I think Emelianenko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
