Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lebron Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joakim Jansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joakim Jansson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lebron Bryant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joakim Jansson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryant looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jansson is fending him off so far but Bryant persists. Nope, Jansson circles away and we're back to standing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jansson! But no joy. Jansson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jansson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bryant is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jansson thows a left - swing and a miss! Jansson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bryant circles away quickly and effectively. Bryant shoots for a double leg takedown but Jansson sprawls well. He's pushed Bryant's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bryant shoots and misses and Jansson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lebron Bryant. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bryant will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jansson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bryant sprawling to the canvas! Bryant rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jansson finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action! Jansson gets caught flat footed, as Bryant shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jansson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bryant being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Jansson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bryant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jansson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bryant looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jansson working a defensive guard here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bryant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jansson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bryant drives through with a takedown into Jansson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jansson can do anything to dispel that myth. Jansson is trying to keep Bryant in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bryant throws a big elbow that misses. Bryant passes Jansson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bryant wants to work for an arm triangle but Jansson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bryant throwing shots but Jansson is blocking nicely. Jansson trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bryant is working for a guillotine from mount but Jansson frees his head quite easily.
Bryant is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Jansson is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lebron Bryant! Our winner, Lebron Bryant, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
