Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shintaro Nomo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoi comes to the cage accompanied by Fehu - Wardruna. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fabian Hoi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shintaro Nomo!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoi misses the shot to the body.
Nomo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nomo throws an overhand right that lands on Hoi's shoulder, as Hoi tries to avoid the shot.
Hoi throws a looping overhand right but Nomo ducks down to avoid it.
Nomo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hoi momentarily.
Nomo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hoi is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Nice shot lands for Nomo.
Nomo sends Hoi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nomo is motioning to the referee to let Hoi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Hoi is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nomo ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Hoi's jaw. Hoi's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Nomo does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shintaro Nomo!
Shintaro Nomo tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Fabian Hoi was interviewed post fight and said 'It was an honor fighting you and I wish you nothing but the best. Hopefully we will fight again in the future so that I can avenge this loss. '.
