Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George has chosen Lamb of God - Descending as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chim lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
George misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chim.
Chim appears to be looking for a big counter.
Borin Chim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
George slips under a jab.
Chim goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

George fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chim manages to avoid it.
Chim swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Horrible takedown attempt by George or perhaps it was just good defense by Chim, which made it look bad.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

George moves out of range as Chim throws a body kick.
Chim fakes the leg kick and cracks George in the body.
Chim looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. George looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Chim connects with a good right hand that stumbles George. George circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Chim throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Chim throws a low kick but it's checked well by George.
Chim thows a body kick. George tries to catch it but that hurt him.

George will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

George closes the distance and clinches up with Chim, looking for a takedown. George pushes Chim against the cage but Chim circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

George is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Chim tries to bum rush George with a series of wild strikes but George uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

George's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

George shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chim defends it nicely.

Chim jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
George doesn't succeed with the takedown

Borin Chim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Furious George.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

George drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Chim defends it well.

George closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chim quickly recovers to half guard.

George is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chim is just riding it out for now. George eventually gives up the hold.

George seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Chim has recovered full guard.
George takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

George fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Chim thumps George with a low kick.
George rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chim looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Chim feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to George's calf.

Furious George has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
George takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

And that's the end of the fight!
Borin Chim showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chim, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
