Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jar Jar Binks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Layne Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Layne Fields is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jar Jar Binks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Layne Fields! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fields lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Binks tries to clinch up but Fields circles away and keeps his distance. Binks tries to clinch there but Fields circles away.
Fields throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Binks.
It looks like Jar Jar Binks has been cut. Binks wants to clinch. Binks pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fields is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Fields has taken the fight to the clinch.
Binks pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Binks working aggressively here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Binks throws an elbow that misses.
Fields is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Binks is keeping busy. Binks tries to land knees in the clinch but Fields avoids the damage to the body. Fields digs a right hand into Binks's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Binks's gas tank. Fields blocks an uppercut.

The fight stays on the outside here - Binks looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A solid body kick from Fields. Fields tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Binks seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Fields clinches up against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Fields landing knees to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fields lands with a right to the head. Fields cracks Binks with a nice body shot. Fields makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Fields scores a nice knee to the body.

Fields lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Fields slowing the pace effectively. Binks takes an elbow to the temple. Fields lands a good knee to the midsection. Binks won't want to take too many of those. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A knee to the head by Fields.
Fields is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Fields displaying some good clinch control by pressing Binks up against the cage. Fields lands a body punch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Fields obliges.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fields presses Binks against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Fields lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jar Jar Binks's cut is getting worse. Fields's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Fields pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fields rushes Binks and presses him up against the cage. Fields blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Fields lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Binks backwards. Fields lands an elbow just above Binks 's eye. Fields lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Binks backwards. Fields lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fields crunches a lovely knee into Binks's ribcage. Fields lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fields lands a body punch. Fields working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Fields pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fields clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Layne Fields dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jar Jar Binks's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A slapping body kick lands there for Fields. Binks tries to clinch but Fields moves away and Fields lands a stunning uppercut that sends Binks to the mat!
Binks is rocked! Binks has hold of Fields's hands but Fields slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Oh Binks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Binks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Binks tries to get out of the position. Fields is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Binks is hurt! He's hurt bad - Fields fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Binks from any more punishment! Congratulations to Fields! Great finish!
