Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brady Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Oró Sé do Bheath Abhaile . Russell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Encore Jay z and Lincoln Park kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brady Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Psycho Russell! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Russell just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBurns. Russell scores with a jab to the head.
Russell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Russell throws a chopping leg kick but Burns manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Russell lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Russell catches Burns with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Russell shoots for a takedown but Burns saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Russell cracks Burns with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Russell misses with a two punch combination.
Russell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Russell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burns tries to avoid it but Russell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burns to the ground. Burns escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Burns looks to land a body kick but Russell moved away. Russell with the counter takedown but Burns avoids it easily. Burns lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Burns throws a wild body kick that Russell sees coming a mile off. Russell appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Russell throws a sloppy head kick and Burns moves out of range easily. Burns is looking to counter punch. Russell looks to throw the jab but Burns is out of range. Burns is looking to counter punch. Burns thuds his right hand into Russell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russell checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Burns lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Nice defenses there by Burns. Burns keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Russell. Russell digs a good body shot into Burns's ribs. Burns connects with a leg kick. Russell looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Russell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Burns counters with a leg kick. Russell tries a head kick but it misses.
Burns has taken the fight to the clinch.
Burns misses with a punch to the body.
Russell wants to break free but Burns has control.
Burns lands a hook that snaps the head of Russell backwards. Russell has a couple of punches blocked by Burns.
Burns misses with the head strike.
Burns tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A short uppercut from Burns.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns scores with a shoulder strike. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burns misses with a hook to the ribs.
Burns swings wildly with an uppercut but Russell uses good head movement to avoid it. Russell blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Burns misses with a short punch on the inside. Burns is working Russell over against the cage. Burns lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Russell softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Burns's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Burns connects with a nice looking jab.
Russell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Burns. Russell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Burns cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Burns lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Burns clinches up with Russell and pushes him back against the cage. Russell is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Burns pulls him back up using the underhooks. Brady Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psycho Russell.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Russell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Russell sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Russell throws the left hand but Burns avoids the punch easily. Burns throws a body shot but no joy. Russell takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Burns doesn't manage to clinch there - Russell circles away.
A left lands for Russell. Burns throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Psycho Russell has been cut. Burns throws a head kick that misses and Russell counters with a left and a right that stings Burns. Burns moves out of range of the body kick. Russell tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Burns was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Russell takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Russell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burns connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Russell scrambles back to his feet. Burns throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Russell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nice shot lands for Burns.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Russell is rocked! Russell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Russell is still on wobbly legs! Can Burns finish him? Burns buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Russell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Burns fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Russell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Burns lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Russell - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Burns!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brady Burns! In defeat, Psycho Russell stepped up to the mic, saying 'Got to train harder and get more focus'.
