Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Lokot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drei Silker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drei Silker told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ruslan Lokot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drei Silker! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lokot goes for a double leg but Silker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silker continues to drive forward. Silker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silker fails to land with a series of punches.
Lokot shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Silker counters with a lovely straight right hand! Silker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lokot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruslan Lokot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silker gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Silker misses with the head strike.
Lokot jumps guard and drags Silker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lokot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silker's guard. Lokot looking to pass the guard. Silker keeping moving, preventing Lokot from controlling successfully. Silker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Silker stopping the sweep attempt from Lokot. Silker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silker working the head and body with strikes. Silker takes a little break here. Lokot wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Silker working away. Silker slows the pace down. Lokot is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lokot is trying to control Silker's posture but Silker avoids it. Lokot is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Silker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Let's hope that Silker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Silker wants to pass the guard but Lokot is defending well.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Silker scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Silker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lokot has his takedown stuffed and Silker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lokot gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Silker counters with a nice body shot. Lokot is breathing heavily. Lokot is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lokot's sensitive parts. Silker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lokot is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drei Silker dominated that round. That's time! Lokot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Silker cracks Lokot with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Lokot tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Silker pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lokot is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drei Silker!
