PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenichi Shirahama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig comes into the arena with The Misfits- Night of the Living Dead blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Danzig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenichi Shirahama!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Shirahama.
Shirahama connects with a crisp jab.
Shirahama swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Danzig slips a jab and a cross from Shirahama.

Shirahama is nestled in close to Danzig, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
