The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerson walks into a jab.
Carter throws the left hand but Gerson avoids the punch easily.
Gerson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Carter lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gerson takes a step back to recover.

Carter tries to land a front kick but Gerson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gerson has his foot on Carter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carter works his way back into a safe position though.

Carter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gerson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carter has managed to get both his arms back between Gerson's legs - danger averted.
Gerson is striking off his back. Carter thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Carter is looking to take a break and control but Gerson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
