Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitel King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quill Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitel King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Quill Styles! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Styles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but King circles away quickly and effectively. King appears to be looking for a big counter. Styles throws a leg kick but King moved away. A low kick from Styles misses and King counters with a straight right hand. King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Styles swats him away and circles back towards the center. Quill Styles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Styles connects with an inside leg kick. King tries to clinch but Styles is having none of it. Styles throws a hook but King avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by King. King throws a right and a left that Styles avoids nicely. King doesn't manage to clinch there - Styles circles away.
Styles appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Styles but Styles pushes him off and we're back to square one. Styles tries a quick counter leg kick but King is wise to it. King shoots in for a double leg but Styles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Styles jabbing away but nothing is landing. Styles scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Styles lands a jab. Styles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mitel King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Styles misses with a double jab.

Styles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from King is defended easily by Styles. A little jabbing left from Styles on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Styles fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. King moves away from the strike by Styles. King slips a straight right by Styles. King looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from King is defended easily by Styles. King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Styles. Quill Styles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Styles throws a big shot that misses. Styles waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract King. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Styles does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Styles sprawls well. Styles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quill Styles dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
King defending well as Styles loads up on a big left hand. Styles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Styles scores with a hook. Styles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Styles wants it to stay on the feet. King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Styles is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Styles circles away and we're back to standing. King moves out of range of the strikes. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether King might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Horrible takedown attempt by King or perhaps it was just good defense by Styles, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mitel King. Styles has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Styles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Styles misses with a looping right. King half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. King looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mitel King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. King walks into a straight right hand from Styles. King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Styles swats him away and circles back towards the center. Styles smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. King is looking to clinch but Styles is avoiding it.

Styles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King. King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Styles but Styles pushes him off and we're back to square one. Quill Styles is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Styles lands a straight punch to the body, keeping King at a distance.

King dives in for a single leg takedown but Styles sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A countering left hand to the body from Styles misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Styles. King does a little dance to reset his feet. Styles misses the jab. King connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. King wants to clinch. Styles is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Mitel King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Styles throws a big shot that misses. King appears to be looking for a big counter. King darts in looking for a takedown but Styles gets double underhooks and turns King into the cage. Styles lands the left hand. Good shot there by Styles. Styles swats away the attempt to clinch by King. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Styles! But no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Styles fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt King.
And that's the end of the fight! Quill Styles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Styles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
