Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koizumi just misses with a punch to the body.
Koizumi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Koizumi somewhat.

Jane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Koizumi but Koizumi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gunji Koizumi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Some bone on bone action there as Jane checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jane looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Koizumi is fending him off so far but Jane persists. Nope, Koizumi circles away and we're back to standing.

Koizumi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jane tries to roll over but Koizumi keeps him under control.

Jane is staying active underneath Koizumi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koizumi on the ground.
