Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bruschia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaspar Van Clausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruschia comes to the cage accompanied by Gillette - Mr. Personality. Jaspar Van Clausen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Bruschia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaspar Van Clausen! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Clausen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Bobby Bruschia has been cut. Van Clausen stuns Bruschia with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Van Clausen shoots in and gets a takedown into Bruschia's guard. Van Clausen sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bruschia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Van Clausen's guard. Bruschia tries to free his leg and advance position but Van Clausen is retaining full guard. Bruschia stands and throws Van Clausen's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bruschia is trying to get an arm triangle but Van Clausen is defending well. Bruschia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Van Clausen keeps working. Van Clausen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Clausen struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruschia tries to advance to mount but Van Clausen denies him. Bruschia advances to mount. Van Clausen is desperately trying to improve his position but Bruschia has a good base and remains in mount. Bruschia has control of Van Clausen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Van Clausen regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bruschia wants to take Van Clausen's back here but Van Clausen is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bruschia wants to take his opponent's back but instead Van Clausen manages to regain half guard. Bruschia content to control rather than advance. Bruschia trying to control the action but Van Clausen is working from the bottom. Bruschia maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Van Clausen could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bruschia has cracked it and Van Clausen is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bruschia!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bobby Bruschia! A very excited looking Bobby Bruschia rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. In defeat, Jaspar Van Clausen stepped up to the mic, saying 'I thank everyone for coming to watch tonight, my foe was just better, but it was a good fight and am going to learn from this and come back stronger.'.
