Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sae Kin Kwon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sae Kin Kwon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Lee!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kin Kwon swivels and escapes.
Sae Kin Kwon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Lee.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kin Kwon as he jumps to the side.
A good leg kick by Lee.
Kin Kwon tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kin Kwon.

Kin Kwon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lee to the mat! Lee manages to get full guard.
Lee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kin Kwon wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kin Kwon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kin Kwon stays in close to Lee's body and controls the position.

Lee working for a triangle but Kin Kwon defends it easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lee wants to sweep here but Kin Kwon controlling him for the moment.
Lee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Lee lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kin Kwon!
Kin Kwon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Lee tries to control but Kin Kwon wriggling away.
Kin Kwon wants to control but Lee is having none of it.

Kin Kwon wants to hold on but Lee pushes him away.

Kin Kwon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lee.
Lee can't control as he wanted to and Kin Kwon manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kin Kwon is pressing down on Lee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kin Kwon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kin Kwon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kin Kwon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kin Kwon looking to control but Lee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sae Kin Kwon dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kin Kwon looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well.

The referee asks Lee politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lee prefers to stall for the moment though.
Lee prevents Kin Kwon from escaping the position.
Lee in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kin Kwon tries to buck Lee off but Lee is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kin Kwon is trying to control Lee's posture but Lee avoids it.
Kin Kwon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lee wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Kin Kwon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lee is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Lee counters with an outside leg kick.

Kin Kwon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kin Kwon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lee misses with a looping right.
Sae Kin Kwon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kin Kwon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Kin Kwon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee!

Kin Kwon throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Kin Kwon wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sae Kin Kwon will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Kin Kwon misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lee drives through and clinches with Kin Kwon against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sae Kin Kwon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kin Kwon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lee will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Kin Kwon throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease.
Kin Kwon shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kin Kwon tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kin Kwon pushes Lee off looking to stand but Lee dives back in and keeps control.

Lee is working for a kimura but Kin Kwon is defending it quite comfortably.
Lee is trying to control the action in half guard but Kin Kwon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tommy Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sae Kin Kwon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kin Kwon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.

Tommy Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kin Kwon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
