Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Makar Vershinin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Polo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vershinin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Polo takes a jab right on the kisser.

Vershinin throws a leg kick that is checked
and Polo counters with a nice body kick.
Vershinin throws a wild body kick that Polo sees coming a mile off.
As Vershinin backs off Polo throws a huge counter combo but Vershinin manages to avoid it all.
We've been told by Vershinin 's head coaches at The Nine Worlds that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Vershinin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Polo moves away.
Vershinin tests Polo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Vershinin connects with a single shot there.
Makar Vershinin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vershinin throws a series of punches but Polo avoids them all with ease.
Polo throws out a counter right but Vershinin avoids it with no problem.
