7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otso Koski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, PePe Hapitchou! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Koski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Koski throws a leg kick that is checked and Hapitchou cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Koski scores with a leg kick.

Koski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hapitchou swats him away and circles back towards the center. Koski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Hapitchou wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Koski has him pressed against the cage. Koski looks to throw an elbow but misses. A short uppercut from Hapitchou. It connects and Koski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koski throws a right hand that Hapitchou ducks under and follows up with a left that Hapitchou also avoids with ease. Hapitchou is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Koski. That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hapitchou steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Koski. That one must have hurt. Hapitchou tests Koski's chin there with a solid looking shot. A leg kick checked by Hapitchou. The crowd cheers as Hapitchou lands an impressive looking overhand right. Koski doesn't seem phased though. Koski feints and then cracks Hapitchou's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hapitchou down. Koski walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hapitchou checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Koski tries to score with a low kick but Hapitchou moves his leg out of the way. Hapitchou lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Koski at a distance.
Hapitchou moves into range and connects with a jab. Koski shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Hapitchou now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Hapitchou throws out a loose jab but Koski uses good head movement to avoid it. Hapitchou throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Koski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Koski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Koski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hapitchou is tightening it up a little... Koski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Koski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Koski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hapitchou!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). PePe Hapitchou! A determined PePe Hapitchou didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
