Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
40 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ash Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hades Destroyer!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas connects with a leg kick. Destroyer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Destroyer wants to clinch but Thomas slips to the side
and Thomas counters with a slapping leg kick.
Thomas connects with a solid leg kick.
Thomas tries a head kick but it misses.
Thomas looks to score with a jab to the body but Destroyer is just out of range.
Thomas lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ash Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Destroyer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Destroyer throws a hook to the side of Thomas's head but Thomas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Thomas, as that shot connected.
Thomas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Destroyer on the side of the head.
It looks like Hades Destroyer has been cut.
Thomas cracks Destroyer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A nice leg kick lands there from Thomas.
Thomas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Destroyer takes one to the chin there.
Destroyer is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thomas throws a quick head kick that knocks Destroyer silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Thomas is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ash Thomas!
After the fight, Ash Thomas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
