The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooten feints a jab promting Grossman to slip. Wooten then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Grossman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wooten stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wooten wants it to stay on the feet.
Wooten misses with a two punch combination.
Wooten throws a right hand that Grossman ducks under and follows up with a left that Grossman also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Wooten, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Grossman fails with the takedown.

Grossman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wooten looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Grossman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wooten can do anything to dispel that myth.
Grossman tries to advance to mount but Wooten denies him.

Grossman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wooten has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Grossman but great work by Wooten.
Grossman gets back to half guard.

Wooten is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Grossman works his way to full guard. Good work.

Grossman is looking for a triangle but Wooten pushes his legs off easily.
Wooten really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grossman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooten throws a big elbow that misses.
Wooten wants to control from the top but Grossman keeps moving.

Grossman has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wooten doesn't defend quickly enough and Grossman has managed to lock this one up! Can Wooten escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Grossman on a fantastic submission victory.
