Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Devin Jagger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pat Sinlet! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jagger closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jagger gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sinlet regains guard.
Sinlet has a closed guard, preventing Jagger from standing up. Jagger preventing the sweep. Jagger wants to control from the top but Sinlet keeps moving. Jagger trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jagger throws a strike but Sinlet rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jagger trying to keep a closed guard but Sinlet is proving a slippery customer.
Sinlet controlling from the top position. Jagger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sinlet can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jagger fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Despite the aggression on Sinlet's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Sinlet stuffs the takedown. Sinlet shoots in and bounces Jagger off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sinlet trying to control but Jagger is working from the bottom. Jagger not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinlet trying to control but Jagger is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jagger throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jagger looking for a sweep. Not yet Jagger, not yet. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jagger controls Sinlet momentarily but Sinlet frees himself.

That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Sinlet with that takedown attempt. Sinlet looks winded! Jagger looks for a takedown but Sinlet sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devin Jagger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jagger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sinlet throws a fast counter high kick but Jagger manages to duck under it in time. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jagger. Sinlet sneaks out the side door and pushes Jagger away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Jagger fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sinlet fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jagger throws an overhand right that lands on Sinlet's shoulder, as Sinlet tries to avoid the shot. Sinlet looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Sinlet fails with a takedown attempt. Jagger attempts a counter takedown but Sinlet avoids it well and moves away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jagger has Sinlet up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sinlet trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jagger has a closed guard, preventing Sinlet from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pat Sinlet will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sinlet has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jagger has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jagger jumps guard and drags Sinlet to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Jagger is trying to keep Sinlet in close.
Jagger will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Sinlet won't allow Jagger to sweep him here. Jagger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jagger throws a leg kick but Sinlet sees it coming and checks it nicely. Jagger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sinlet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jagger somewhat. Jagger sets himself, and Sinlet steps forward looking for the clinch! Jagger avoids it this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sinlet will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sinlet has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jagger is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jagger keeps the fight on the outside. Jagger clinches up with Sinlet and pushes him back against the cage. Jagger has had enough of the clinch but Sinlet keeps him there for the moment. Jagger wants to take the fight to the mat but Sinlet manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devin Jagger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jagger as Sinlet tries to tie him up. Jagger prevents Sinlet from breaking the clinch. Sinlet is working for takedown but Jagger is calmly controlling the position for now. Sinlet wants to break free but Jagger has control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jagger wants to stand but Sinlet is controlling the position.

That will dishearten Jagger somewhat. As Jagger backs off Sinlet throws a huge counter combo but Jagger manages to avoid it all. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jagger tries for a takedown but Sinlet circles away easily and Sinlet counters with a single leg into guard. Jagger didn't expect that. Jagger manages to escape and get back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Devin Jagger will probably get the nod. That's time! Jagger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Jagger takes the fight into the clinch.

Jagger drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sinlet pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jagger pushes Sinlet up against the cage in a clinch. Sinlet fails to pull guard.
Jagger wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Jagger can't break the clinch.

Jagger is looking for a triangle here but Sinlet uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Jagger tries to improve position but can't. Jagger seems a little lost for a moment, as Sinlet dominates the positioning. Jagger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sinlet wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sinlet tries for a kimura but Jagger is defending well. Jagger can't do much from the bottom here. Jagger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jagger tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sinlet wants to control but Jagger is keeping him busy. Sinlet is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jagger knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jagger is looking for a sweep.
