Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jordan Karelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer slaps away a takedown attempt from Karelin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hammer fails with a takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hammer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Karelin's guard.
Karelin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hammer defends well.
Hammer postures up in Karelin's guard and throws a big left but Karelin blocks it.
Hammer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Karelin tries to improve position but can't.
Karelin taking a bit of punishment here - Hammer scoring with strikes.
Karelin prevents Hammer from moving into mount.
Hammer lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hammer looks up at the clock and then as Karelin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hammer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Karelin gets back to half guard.
Hammer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karelin gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karelin has his foot on Hammer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hammer works his way back into a safe position though.
Karelin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hammer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Karelin has tightened it up now! Hammer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
