Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladmir Inemko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inemko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Sabbath - Iron Man. Inemko has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Ty Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ty Lewis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladmir Inemko! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lewis lands in his opponent's guard. Inemko looks gassed! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lewis's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lewis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inemko works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewis wants to stand but Inemko has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Inemko on the ground. Lewis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inemko works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lewis wants to get up but he can't break Inemko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Inemko can do anything to dispel that myth. Lewis trying to control but Inemko is working from the bottom. Lewis cracks Inemko with a solid left hand. Lewis wanted to stand there but Inemko had control of the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lewis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lewis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Inemko swivels and escapes. Lewis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lewis lands a nice short elbow. Lewis working the head and body with strikes. Lewis wants to stand up but Inemko is controlling the position.

A nice elbow there by Inemko. Lewis has decided that throwing punches whilst being mounted is the best he can manage just now. Lewis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Lewis tries to hold on but Inemko pushes him away. Lewis is trying to stand. Lewis is in a horrible position here. Inemko smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Inemko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lewis looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inemko blocks Lewis's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Inemko with a couple of short strikes. Lewis's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Lewis tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee warns Lewis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Inemko scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Lewis is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Inemko lands a nice shot to the head. Inemko lands a big shot there that rocks Lewis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Ty Lewis will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Inemko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lewis tries to kick Inemko off but Inemko keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lewis wants to get back to full guard. Lewis blocking the ground and pound attempt from Inemko. Lewis wants to improve his position but Inemko is controlling well.
Inemko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lewis is looking to escape. Lewis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Inemko trying to control from half guard but Lewis is working away. Inemko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lewis with a lazy takedown attempt and Inemko counters with a shoot takedown. Lewis fights it but they end up in guard. Inemko passes easily into side control. Nice work. Inemko working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Inemko stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inemko bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lewis taking punishment in the form of punches.
Inemko cracks Lewis with an elbow. That is naaassty. Lewis takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Inemko in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. You can see the frustration on Lewis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Inemko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lewis to see if he's OK. Inemko has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lewis!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Inemko connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Vladmir Inemko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Lewis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Inemko counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Lewis wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Inemko has him pressed against the cage. Lewis tightens his grip and picks Inemko up, before dumping him to the ground. Inemko manages to land in guard. Inemko controls Lewis momentarily but Lewis frees himself. Lewis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Inemko's head. Lewis trying to stand up but can't free himself from Inemko's guard. Lewis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lewis is looking to work some ground and pound but Inemko has wrist control. Inemko working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lewis. Inemko is looking to stand up but Lewis isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Inemko has momentary wrist control but Lewis slips an elbow through the middle.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice takedown defense from Lewis. No joy for Inemko on that attempt. Lewis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nice work there by Inemko. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ty Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lewis is trying to control the position but Inemko postures up. Inemko stops Lewis from standing up. Inemko passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Inemko performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inemko looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Lewis is pressing down on Inemko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Lewis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Inemko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lewis wants to stand up but Inemko is controlling him. Lewis trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Inemko's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Inemko stopping the sweep attempt from Lewis. Inemko trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Vladmir Inemko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Inemko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
