Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from LuhJay as Alaan shoots in.
LuhJay unleashes a big counter combination but Alaan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Alaan tries to close the distance and clinch but LuhJay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
LuhJay throws a counter combo.
Alaan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Alaan fails in his attempt to clinch.

It looks like Angelo Alaan has been cut.
Alaan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
LuhJay is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Alaan closes the distance and pushes LuhJay back into the cage.
LuhJay tries to land a knee to the head but Alaan blocks with his arms.
LuhJay breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alaan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

LuhJay doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Alaan darts in looking for a takedown but LuhJay gets double underhooks and turns Alaan into the cage.
LuhJay is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

and LuhJay counters with a nice right hand that sends Alaan toppling to the canvas! Alaan scrambles and gets back to his feet - can LuhJay finish him?!

Alaan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Alaan can't get the takedown.
Alaan jumps guard but LuhJay turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
LuhJay will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Alaan up against the cage.
Alaan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. LuhJay is defending well for now.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alaan is defended easily by LuhJay.
Despite the aggression on LuhJay's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Alaan wants to clinch
and LuhJay counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Alaan has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). King LuhJay!
King LuhJay decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
