The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rogov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rogov throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Sparks slips a jab and a cross from Rogov.
Rogov rushes Sparks and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rogov postures up and lands a big shot to Sparks's brow.
Sparks is rocked!
Rogov is working Sparks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Sparks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rogov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rogov gets to his feet and stands over Sparks, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Sparks felt that one! Rogov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Sparks from any more punishment!

After winning the bout, Alex Rogov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
