The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari tries to score a power double leg takedown but Weaver sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ferrari somewhat.

Weaver closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ferrari's guard.
Weaver has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ferrari is proving hard to escape from.
Weaver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Weaver has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ferrari is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Weaver is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weaver wants to stand but Ferrari is controlling his posture from full guard.

Ferrari has his foot on Weaver's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Weaver works his way back into a safe position though.
