Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Janusz Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Janusz Nowak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Rogers! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nowak wants to clinch and Rogers counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nowak is looking to control Rogers's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nowak avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogers controlling the action here. Rogers not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nowak avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rogers. Rogers slows the pace down in half guard. Rogers is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nowak sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nowak is trying to get back to full guard. Nowak is working hard here to advance position. Rogers is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nowak is trying to maintain the position but Rogers is very close to passing his half guard. Rogers is looking for a kimura but Nowak is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rogers to get the leverage. Rogers content to control rather than advance. Rogers not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rogers has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nowak defend it? Rogers steps over the head and cranks it - Nowak is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rogers!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sam Rogers! A relieved looking Sam Rogers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
