Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Longworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinnie Longworth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Oliveira! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longworth misses with a takedown attempt and Oliveira makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Oliveira displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Longworth. Longworth scores with a shot to the body.
Oliveira lands a head shot. Oliveira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Longworth.
Longworth bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Longworth scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Oliveira to see if he's OK. Longworth is trying to get an arm triangle but Oliveira is defending well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oliveira wants to control but Longworth postures up. Longworth is chipping away with strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round. Longworth controlling from side mount. Longworth looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Oliveira defending against the ground and pound. Longworth throws an elbow but Oliveira slips to the side and avoids it well. Longworth looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Longworth trying to control the action but Oliveira is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Longworth controlling from side mount. Longworth fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Longworth working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Longworth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oliveira keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oliveira is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Longworth postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Oliveira is not content to let Longworth control the position. Longworth has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Oliveira is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Longworth yanks on the arm and Oliveira is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Longworth.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Vinnie Longworth! After winning the bout, Vinnie Longworth thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. The defeated Carlos Oliveira had this to say: 'I'm a better fighter, but he was luckier today'.
