Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hitokiri Battousai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and so punhetas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Battousai's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ratamahatta. Hitokiri Battousai has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hitokiri Battousai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, so punhetas!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battousai shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says punhetas as he avoids it easily.
punhetas tries to clinch there but Battousai circles away.
Battousai takes one on the button.
punhetas with a poor takedown
and Battousai counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
punhetas wants to improve his position but Battousai is controlling well.
Battousai is breathing heavily.
punhetas wants to control but Battousai is keeping busy.
Battousai wants to stand up but punhetas is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
punhetas moves into full guard.
Battousai has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Battousai postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
punhetas fails to land with a series of punches.
Battousai shoots in looking for a takedown. punhetas tries to sprawl out of it but Battousai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. punhetas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
punhetas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
punhetas misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Battousai is not content to let punhetas control the position.

Battousai is trying to improve his position.
punhetas is looking to take a break and control but Battousai is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
punhetas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Battousai knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
punhetas prevents Battousai from escaping the position.

Battousai throws punhetas to one side and escapes!
punhetas shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
punhetas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Battousai keeps working.
Battousai pushes punhetas off and gets back to his feet.

punhetas avoids the head kick by Battousai.
punhetas tries to clinch

Battousai could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters are battling for position here. punhetas manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
punhetas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Battousai is one step ahead there.
punhetas is trying to control the position but Battousai postures up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Battousai gets to his feet. punhetas looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hitokiri Battousai will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Battousai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

punhetas gets back to half guard.
punhetas has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Battousai. Oh but punhetas has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Battousai goes limp - he's gone! punhetas jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
