Carmen has chosen Sinéad O'Connor - The Foggy Dew as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jouban tries to counter by clinching up but Carmen breaks away and moves out of range.
Carmen throws a big shot that misses.
Jouban seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Jouban fails with an attempt to clinch.
Carmen looks to land a right hand but Jouban moved out of range.
Jouban is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Carmen counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Carmen throws the left hand but Jouban avoids the punch easily.

Jouban tries to clinch up but Carmen circles away and keeps his distance.
Jouban wants to clinch.
Carmen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jouban sprawling to the canvas! Jouban rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Carmen finish him?!
Jouban is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carmen drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Jouban's head, knocking him out cold! Carmen is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Carmen!
