Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chandler comes to the cage accompanied by Puddle Of Mudd - Spaceship. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeff Chandler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robert Marley! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chandler throws a hook to the side of Marley's head but Marley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Marley throws a leg kick so Chandler counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Chandler slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Chandler working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Marley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Marley is still trying to improve position. Chandler is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chandler being controlled here momentarily. Chandler postures up in Marley's guard and throws a big left but Marley blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chandler trying to control the position from guard on top but Marley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marley can do anything to dispel that myth. Marley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chandler postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Marley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chandler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chandler pushes down on Marley's leg and manages to get into half guard. Marley tries to kick Chandler off in order to stand up. Chandler Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Marley is looking to reverse the position. Chandler tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Marley is not content to let Chandler control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley is trying to improve his position. The referee asks Chandler politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chandler prefers to stall for the moment though. Chandler working away. Chandler definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Chandler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Marley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chandler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Chandler slows the pace down. Marley tries to buck Chandler off but Chandler is having none of it. Chandler is staying tight to Marley's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chandler tries for a kimura but Marley is defending well. Chandler working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Chandler sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Marley is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Marley avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Chandler. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marley is trying to control Chandler's posture but Chandler avoids it. Marley being controlled for a moment. Chandler cracks Marley with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chandler slows the pace down. Chandler lands a decent elbow from side control. We've been informed that Marley has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Chandler working away. Chandler is looking to take a break and control but Marley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chandler working the ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Marley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee asks Chandler politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chandler prefers to stall for the moment though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Chandler dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Marley wants to land a leg kick but Chandler is out of range. Chandler takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Chandler gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Marley. Marley keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Chandler takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Marley looks to land a left hand but Chandler moved out of range nicely. Chandler misses with an uppercut. It seemed like Marley was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marley scores with a hook to the body. Chandler takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Chandler blocks a low kick nicely. Chandler goes for a double leg but Marley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Marley continues to drive forward. Marley lands with a shot to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chandler misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marley works Chandler's body with a nice hook. Chandler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marley throws a leg kick but Chandler moved away. Marley connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Jeff Chandler has been cut. Marley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Marley lands with a good body shot. Chandler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Marley lands a right hook to the body.
Marley scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Chandler is rocked! Marley pounces like a tiger and cracks Chandler with a vicious hook! Chandler is down but not out! Marley follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Robert Marley!
