Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Slyker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slyker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's Amazing by Kanye West kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Cain Slyker enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
40 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
37 - 33 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cain Slyker! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slyker shoots in but Morgan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Slyker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morgan but Morgan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Morgan lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Slyker tries to close the distance and clinch but Morgan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Slyker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Morgan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Slyker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Morgan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slyker is controlling him. Slyker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Morgan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Slyker, into his guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morgan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Slyker is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slyker is working an open guard so Morgan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Slyker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Morgan kicks off Slyker and gets to his feet. Slyker fails with a takedown attempt. Morgan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Scott Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Slyker.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slyker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morgan as he jumps to the side. Slyker looks for a takedown but Morgan sprawls well. We've been told by Morgan's head coaches at Russian Fighting Community Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Slyker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Morgan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Slyker somewhat. Slyker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morgan circles away quickly and effectively. Slyker misses with a double jab
and Morgan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morgan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Morgan controlling the action here for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Slyker tries to score a body lock takedown but Morgan shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Morgan is defending well against a takedown attempt. Morgan breaks from the clinch.

Slyker clinches up against the cage. Morgan gets underhooks to prevent Slyker's takedown attempt.
Slyker throws a head punch that misses. Morgan misses with an elbow over the top. Slyker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Slyker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morgan pinned against the cage. Morgan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Slyker shoots and misses letting Morgan counter with a right hand.
It looks like Cain Slyker has been cut. Slyker fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slyker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morgan swivels and escapes. Slyker feints and as Morgan raises his hands in defense, Slyker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Slyker throwing strikes from guard but Morgan blocks nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Slyker stands up over Morgan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Slyker cracks Morgan with a solid left hand. Slyker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Slyker lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Morgan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Morgan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Slyker throwing strikes from guard but Morgan blocks nicely. Slyker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Morgan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cain Slyker's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Slyker drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slyker throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slyker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Morgan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Slyker has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Slyker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Morgan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Morgan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Slyker can do to turn this around? Slyker is trying to pull guard but Morgan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Slyker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Morgan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Scott Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Slyker. Morgan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morgan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. As Slyker looks to move away, Morgan throws a big counter combo bu Slyker just gets out of the way.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Slyker misses. Slyker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slyker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morgan defends it nicely. Slyker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Morgan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Slyker somewhat. Slyker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morgan did well to prevent Slyker getting side control. Slyker throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Morgan to regain full guard. Slyker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Morgan's head. Slyker won't allow Morgan to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Morgan has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Slyker is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Morgan breaks from the clinch.
Slyker fails with the takedown and Morgan counters with a lovely straight right hand! This has been an exciting period of action! Slyker throws a right and a left that both miss. Morgan swings for the body but Slyker moves out of range.
Slyker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Slyker with a poor takedown and Morgan counters with a straight right hand. Morgan throws a sloppy head kick and Slyker moves out of range easily. Scott Morgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Slyker throws a series of strikes that have Morgan backpedaling.
Slyker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morgan. Morgan stuffs the takedown. Morgan throwing a counter right hand but Slyker manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slyker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Morgan is trying to defend but Slyker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Slyker is breathing heavily. Slyker prevents Morgan from improving his position. Slyker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Slyker scoring with strikes to the body and head. Slyker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Morgan sees it coming and defends easily. Slyker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Morgan is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Slyker. Cain Slyker has got the better of the ground game so far. Morgan has hold of Slyker's hands but Slyker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Slyker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morgan's head. Slyker scoring with strikes to the body and head. Slyker is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Morgan is hurt! He's hurt bad - Slyker fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Morgan from any more punishment! Congratulations to Slyker! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cain Slyker! An out of breath Cain Slyker thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
