Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rancid Crabtree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Wallander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rancid Crabtree! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kurt Wallander! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Crabtree. Wallander shoots in looking for a takedown but Crabtree manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wallander's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kurt Wallander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crabtree scores with a spinning back kick! Wallander misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wallander moves into the clinch. Crabtree escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crabtree connects with a solid leg kick. Wallander avoids the head kick by Crabtree.
Crabtree misses with a wild body shot. Wallander shoots in for a takedown but Crabtree shows good takedown defense. Rancid Crabtree has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Wallander. Crabtree misses with a two punch combination.
No luck for Wallander with that takedown attempt. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Crabtree. Wallander shrugs it off though. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wallander.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallander wants to clinch. Crabtree throws a right hand that Wallander ducks under and follows up with a left that Wallander also avoids with ease. Wallander is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Crabtree scores with a jab. Wallander acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wallander is defended easily by Crabtree. Wallander shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crabtree's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallander postures up.
Wallander throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wallander looking to pass the guard. Wallander is looking to work some ground and pound but Crabtree has wrist control. Wallander in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wallander missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wallander throwing strikes but missing. Wallander stops Crabtree from standing up. Wallander is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Crabtree is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Crabtree has escaped and now he's on top! Our spies down at at B.P.A.: 3250+ SKILL PTS COACHES + 160Q SUPPLEMENT inform us that Wallander has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Crabtree trying to control the position from guard on top but Wallander is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Wallander has a takedown stuffed. A little feinted left hand from Crabtree on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Wallander tries to close the distance and clinch but Crabtree swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wallander shoots in for a takedown but Crabtree shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wallander tries to clinch up. Wallander misses with a takedown attempt and Crabtree counters with a nice uppercut. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wallander crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Crabtree - the referee stops the clock and Wallander gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Crabtree. Wallander manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Wallander looks winded! Crabtree throws a right hand that Wallander ducks under and follows up with a left that Wallander also avoids with ease. Crabtree misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wallander.
Wallander tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crabtree sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallander somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallander drives through and clinches with Crabtree against the cage.
Crabtree pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wallander tries to clinch but Crabtree moves out of range. Crabtree with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Crabtree throws a body shot but no joy. Wallander tries to clinch up but Crabtree circles away and keeps his distance. Wallander fails with the takedown and Crabtree counters with a stiff right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Decent striking displayed by Crabtree there. Wallander shoots in but no luck this time. Wallander throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crabtree's waist but Crabtree gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallander off to one side. Wallander shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Crabtree dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rancid Crabtree dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Crabtree scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Crabtree throws an overhand right that drops Wallander like a sack of potatoes! Crabtree dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rancid Crabtree! An out of breath Rancid Crabtree thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
