10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kim Il Sung! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donnelly is looking to slow Il Sung down with leg kicks. Il Sung avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Decent striking displayed by Donnelly there. Donnelly scores with a crisp jab that stopped Il Sung in his tracks. Donnelly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Il Sung.
Donnelly fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Il Sung on the side of the head. The fighters circling - Donnelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Liam Donnelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Il Sung drives through with a takedown into guard. Donnelly has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Il Sung with a couple of shots to the head there.
