Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Ganeshalo. No joy for Alex on that attempt.
Alex on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ganeshalo. Ganeshalo obviously looking to wear him down.
Ganeshalo slaps away a takedown attempt from Alex, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ganeshalo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Alex defends it well.
Shane Alex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alex misses with the combination.
Alex checks a leg kick.
Alex shoots for a double leg takedown but Ganeshalo sprawls well. He's pushed Alex's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Alex. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alex shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ganeshalo pinned against the cage. Ganeshalo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Alex throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ganeshalo's waist but Ganeshalo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alex off to one side.
Ganeshalo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Alex defends it well.
Alex throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ganeshalo.
Alex takes a swing at Ganeshalo's ribcage but misses.
Alex tries to clinch up.
Alex wants to slow Ganeshalo down by chopping away at his legs.
Ganeshalo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Ganeshalo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alex was covering up waiting for the punch and Ganeshalo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Alex pushes Ganeshalo off and scrambles back to his feet.
Alex misses with a takedown attempt
and Ganeshalo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Alex won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ganeshalo in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Alex looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Ganeshalo turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
