Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Percival Pacaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihashi Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Percival Pacaldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihashi Sato! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato is looking to chop away at Pacaldo's legs. Pacaldo throwing a counter right hand but Sato manages to avoid it. Pacaldo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sato pinned against the ropes. Sato gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pacaldo throws a jab when Sato was well out of range. Sato tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sato closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pacaldo circles away. Pacaldo takes the fight into the clinch. Sato is pressed up against the ropes. Pacaldo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sato down to the mat. Sato avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sato gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Sato has Pacaldo up against the ropes in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pacaldo tries to pull guard but Sato holds him up against the ropes and eventually Pacaldo drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Percival Pacaldo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pacaldo throws a head punch that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pacaldo is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Sato can't fight it off and eventually Pacaldo manages to take the fight to the floor. Sato looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sato wriggles free and stands up. Pacaldo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Pacaldo scores with a nice head shot. Pacaldo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sato misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pacaldo attempts a counter takedown but Sato avoids it well and moves away. Pacaldo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sato counters with a straight right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sato shoots in but Pacaldo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Pacaldo - just one landing. Pacaldo gets a clinch. Sato is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pacaldo pulls him back up using the underhooks. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Pacaldo is trying to pull guard but Sato turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch. Sato is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pacaldo is defending well. Pacaldo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Sato is pressed up against the ropes. Pacaldo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sato down to the mat. Sato avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sato lands a jab-cross combination. Pacaldo lands a slapping body shot.
Sato dives in and grabs Pacaldo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pacaldo pushes down on Sato's head and hops out. Sato looks winded! Pacaldo slips under a jab. Sato's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pacaldo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sato scrambles back to his feet. Pacaldo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Sato drives through and clinches with Pacaldo against the ropes.

Pacaldo is trying to trip Sato. He has hold of a leg but Sato is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pacaldo persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Pacaldo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sato, up you get! Pacaldo is looking to clinch. Sato misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sato quickly recovers to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sato wants to get back to full guard. Pacaldo lands strikes from half guard.

Pacaldo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sato, pushing him back against the ropes. Sato is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pacaldo pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sato lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Sato wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pacaldo keeps working. Sato seems to be working for a kimura but Pacaldo defends the submission attempt. Sato is keen to just control but Pacaldo is a slippery customer. Pacaldo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sato on the ground. Pacaldo is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sato is looking to take a break and control but Pacaldo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Percival Pacaldo will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Yoshihashi Sato is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pacaldo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pacaldo throws a leg kick but Sato checks it. Sato drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Pacaldo misses with a hook. Sato ducked under it nicely. Pacaldo tries to clinch there but Sato circles away.

Sato tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Percival Pacaldo has scored more points in the clinch so far. Pacaldo is looking for a takedown. Sato lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Sato throws out a leg kick but Pacaldo moves out of range and Sato only half commits. Sato is breathing heavily. Sato ducks under a wild hook from Pacaldo. Pacaldo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sato explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Pacaldo rushes Sato and presses him up against the ropes. Pacaldo tries to pull guard but Sato forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Sato is looking to break free of the clinch but Pacaldo has double underhooks. Pacaldo has Sato pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pacaldo pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Sato tumbling to the mat - Pacaldo dives into Sato's guard. Yoshihashi Sato has got the better of the ground game so far.

Pacaldo landing some decent shots from guard. Sato is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pacaldo scoring with punches to the head and body. Sato looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pacaldo stands up from Sato's guard - Pacaldo perhaps looking for a knockout. Pacaldo checks the leg kick nicely there.
Pacaldo throws a big counter combination but Sato scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Percival Pacaldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sato pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pacaldo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sato moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sato shoots in for a double leg but Pacaldo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Pacaldo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sato on the side of the head. Pacaldo scores with a shot to the body.
Pacaldo tries to clinch up but Sato circles away and keeps his distance. Pacaldo with a jab. Pacaldo scores with a sloppy right hand. Sato should have avoided that one.
Sato is rocked! Pacaldo forces Sato back against the ropes and clinches. Sato is still on wobbly legs! Can Pacaldo finish him? Pacaldo gets through Sato's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Percival Pacaldo dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Pacaldo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Sato to the canvas! Sato doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Pacaldo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
