Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Assassin Sokoudjou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lenny Hall!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Sokoudjou - just one landing.
Sokoudjou throws a right hand that Hall ducks under and follows up with a left that Hall also avoids with ease.
Hall connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hall tries to clinch but Sokoudjou moves out of range.
Sokoudjou throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hall.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Sokoudjou swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hall takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Sokoudjou.
Hall throws a hook but Sokoudjou blocks it.
Sokoudjou looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sokoudjou.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hall ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sokoudjou with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hall scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Lenny Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall tries to clinch up but Sokoudjou circles away and keeps his distance.
Sokoudjou lands a big head kick that sends Hall tumbling to the mat! Sokoudjou takes a step backwards and waves Hall back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hall is rocked!
It looks like Lenny Hall has been cut.
Hall closes the distance but Sokoudjou moves to the side
and Sokoudjou counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Hall off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Sokoudjou follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Hall was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Assassin Sokoudjou!
