Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roberto El Condor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dieter Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto El Condor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dieter Schmidt! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El Condor misses the shot to the body. Schmidt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! El Condor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Schmidt - the referee stops the clock and El Condor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Schmidt. El Condor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. El Condor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. El Condor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Schmidt is looking for a sweep. El Condor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Schmidt is not content to let El Condor control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. El Condor lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. El Condor throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. El Condor is thwarting Schmidt's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schmidt blocking the ground and pound attempt from El Condor. Schmidt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with El Condor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. El Condor wants to take a breather but Schmidt is having none of it. El Condor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. El Condor is pressing down on Schmidt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Schmidt is holding on for now. El Condor wants to stand up but Schmidt is controlling the position.
El Condor is trying to control the action in half guard but Schmidt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. El Condor shoots in for a takedown but Schmidt shows good takedown defense. Schmidt tries a head kick but it misses.

enabling El Condor to counter with a crisp jab. Schmidt's coach down at The Coffee Shop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Schmidt's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schmidt throws a nice inside leg kick. Schmidt explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Schmidt cracks the inside of El Condor's front leg. El Condor looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Schmidt walks into a straight right hand from El Condor. Schmidt throws a quick inside leg kick. El Condor fails to land the takedown. Schmidt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Schmidt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Schmidt throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schmidt takes a swing at El Condor's ribcage but misses. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Schmidt - that will leave a mark!
Schmidt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Schmidt looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. El Condor fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roberto El Condor. That's going to take a lot out of him. El Condor takes a kick to the side of the head. Dieter Schmidt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Schmidt lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Schmidt scores with a slapping inside leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! El Condor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Schmidt - the referee stops the clock and El Condor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Schmidt. El Condor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Schmidt connects with a leg kick. El Condor looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. El Condor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Schmidt swings for the body but El Condor moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Schmidt. El Condor takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schmidt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. El Condor wants to clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schmidt lets loose with a powerful body kick. El Condor will feel that in the morning. Nice takedown defense from Schmidt. No joy for El Condor on that attempt. Schmidt cracks the inside of El Condor's front leg. A nice leg kick lands there from Schmidt. Schmidt keeps El Condor at a distance using the push kick. Schmidt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. El Condor is breathing heavily. Schmidt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but El Condor moves away. Both fighters circling a little - Schmidt finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dieter Schmidt dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
El Condor slips a jab from Schmidt. Dieter Schmidt seems to be getting the better of the standup. Schmidt throws a hook to the side of El Condor's head but El Condor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. El Condor fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Schmidt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Schmidt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. El Condor tries to counter by clinching up but Schmidt breaks away and moves out of range. Schmidt throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by El Condor. El Condor tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. El Condor is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Schmidt misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good leg kick by Schmidt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Good standup being displayed there by Schmidt as he connects with a hook. El Condor throws a series of punches but Schmidt avoids them all with ease. El Condor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schmidt as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. El Condor takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dieter Schmidt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schmidt tries to sprawl but El Condor drives through with a takedown into half guard. Schmidt trying to control here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. El Condor wants to take a breather but Schmidt is having none of it. Schmidt is pressing down on El Condor's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Schmidt has his hands on El Condor's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schmidt's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. El Condor trying to control the position from guard on top but Schmidt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. El Condor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schmidt as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roberto El Condor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schmidt gets caught flat footed, as El Condor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. El Condor stopping the sweep attempt from Schmidt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schmidt is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Schmidt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. El Condor wants to control from the top but Schmidt keeps moving. Schmidt looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Schmidt looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. El Condor slips a straight right by Schmidt. El Condor shoots for a double leg takedown but Schmidt sprawls well. He's pushed El Condor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Schmidt lands a high kick to the side of El Condor's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Schmidt dives into guard, looking to finish.
El Condor is rocked!
It looks like Roberto El Condor has been cut. El Condor has a closed guard, preventing Schmidt from standing up. Oh El Condor is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Schmidt trying to control but El Condor is working from the bottom. El Condor seems to have got his legs back now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schmidt wants to get up but he can't break El Condor's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dieter Schmidt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Roberto El Condor's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
El Condor shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Schmidt napping and manages to drive through into side control! El Condor trying to control the position but Schmidt is working away. Schmidt can't do much from the bottom here. Schmidt trying to control but El Condor flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! El Condor somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schmidt defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Schmidt is trying to get back to his feet but El Condor has full control of the position and if anything, Schmidt has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schmidt turns into El Condor and is now in his guard.
El Condor striking off his back but it's not causing Schmidt any problems. Schmidt advances to half guard. Schmidt tries to stand and escape but El Condor is controlling the position. El Condor trying to hold on to Schmidt's head to control him but Schmidt postures up.
Schmidt is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
El Condor is trying to get back to full guard. El Condor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schmidt is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schmidt tries to stand but his arm is trapped. El Condor works his way to full guard. Good work. El Condor is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Schmidt stands and steps away. El Condor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Schmidt throws a nice inside leg kick. Schmidt tries a head kick but it misses.
Both fighters circling a little - Schmidt finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. El Condor takes a kick to the side of the head. Schmidt swats away the attempt to clinch by El Condor. Roberto El Condor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. El Condor has Schmidt up against the cage in a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. El Condor slows down the pace here.

Schmidt is trying to break free. Schmidt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. El Condor will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Schmidt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schmidt plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! A slapping leg kick lands for Schmidt.
El Condor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schmidt as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. El Condor takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Crunch! Schmidt slams his shin into El Condor's torso. Schmidt throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Dieter Schmidt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Schmidt feints and then cracks El Condor's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow El Condor down. Schmidt lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Schmidt connects with a high kick. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Schmidt - that will leave a mark!
El Condor takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Roberto El Condor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Schmidt lands with a kick to the ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! Dieter Schmidt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Schmidt winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
