Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Temoodschin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Temoodschin Khan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kobe Kage's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Temoodschin Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kobe Kage!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kage gets the takedown into side control.
Khan is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Kage trying to control the position but Khan is working away.

Kage is trying to get an arm triangle but Khan is defending well.

Kage tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kage has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Khan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Khan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kage has just dragged him back down to the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kage thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Khan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kage has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

You get the feeling that Khan really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kage.
It looked like Khan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Khan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kage.


It looks like Kobe Kage has been cut.

That was a close second round but I would say that Temoodschin Khan will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Kobe Kage's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Khan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Khan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kage on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Khan. Khan obviously looking to wear him down.
Khan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kage.
Khan tries to land a front kick but Kage steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kage drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Khan defends it well.

Kage shoots for a takedown but Khan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Khan counters with an inside leg kick.
Khan misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kage rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Khan counters with a flying knee that drops Kage! Khan dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temoodschin Khan!
